Zero waste philosophy
Pass by The Alpina Lounge & Bar to try zero waste pasta, made of surplus rye bread, based on efficient kitchen management principles, or contribute to charity by ordering a zero waste pizza. 10'000 CHF generated through the sales of the Zero Waste Pizza were donated to charity organisation Smiling Gecko which is breaking a new ground in Cambodia.
For honey lovers, there are 4 beehives located at the hotel's territory. The honey produced by the bees can be found in different dishes or in the breakfast buffet.
Entertainment
The Alpina offers different kinds of entertainment for guests of all ages: children can spend hours playing in a Tree House kids club, adults can use this opportunity of renting a ski which is conveniently located at the hotel. From there, you can take the hotel shuttle to ski or have a cozy family night watching a movie in the Alpina's private cinema room.
